Now that you have the software installed, install the software, click on Start, and click on Run. The software is now ready to be used. After installing the software, go to Control Panel, and click on the Add/Remove Programs item.
Next, add the firewall, so it can protect your network resources. Then, check if the selected program has already been installed. Click on the Add button and then click the Save button. Click on the Add button again and save the settings.
Then, go to Control Panel, and click on the System tab, and then click on the Settings item. Here, you will set the option of blocking specific ports for each computer. In the web section, you will configure the web firewall settings for that particular web server.
To configure the firewall to protect the computers connected to the web server, you can click on the web settings tab. In this tab, you will select which ports are to be blocked for the internet. On the Connections tab, you can set the settings of your domain. You will need to enter the IP address and host name of the computer that is connected to the firewalls. Then, choose the option of protecting your website, IP, and passwords. Remember that you should change these settings in the control panel, before restarting the software.
Another option is to set the option to block all log files and directories. In this case, all the files and directories that you want to prevent from the hackers will be shown to the window. After setting this option, you can save all the changes you made and restart the software. When you restart the software, all the changes you have made will be available.
In the firewall settings, you can also set a security password for your website, email, and accounts. But, you should remember that the security password can be changed at any time, by editing the settings, or through the control panel.
